LEDISON LIGHTING UK: OUR LIGHTING JOURNEY
Established in 2011, Ledison, Voltacon’s LED Light store, was one of the first online shops to stock replacement bulbs and lamps for LED lights. With the market being expensive for LED light fittings, Ledison focused on offering customers the replacement lamps they needed, rather than fittings they were unlikely to want to purchase. By 2012, we had amassed a complete range of LED bulbs, lamps, spots, and tube lights for direct replacements. We operated from rented storage and a tiny office just 30 square metres, and that meant we could offer extremely competitively priced products.
Our site was easy to navigate and facilitated a quick check-out to make buying anything related to LED lights a seamless process for our customers. Investing in research and development, our parent company, Voltacon UK Limited, was designing new products to solve real LED-related issues, and we marketed these innovative solutions at prices our customers loved. Thanks to our philosophy of providing the products our customers wanted, at great prices, we won our first big contract in 2012. GKN Drive Line, the largest automotive parts manufacturer in the world, appointed us to supply them with 25,000 direct replacement tubes.
We were thrilled to be able to work with our largest customers in the UK and Europe to date. However, online sales were not our only passion. Voltacon had created a team of qualified electricians who initiated large scale re-lamping projects around the country. Over just two years, we had become a well-established online seller with practical experience of commercial projects. In 2013, we moved to our own privately owned, purpose-built warehouse and distribution centre, and the following year we enjoyed a multi-million-pound turnover.
During 2016 and 2018, Voltacon (Ledison) worked on a military project supplying LED lights to all Royal Navy ships. At the same time, we penetrated the global shipping industry and supplied lighting solutions to ferries, cruise liners, and commercial ships. A major milestone for Ledison, our products are recognised worldwide since they pass the most rigorous standards. Alongside our LED supply and fitting business, we run our solar photovoltaic and energy storage business.
Voltacon continues to enjoy success due to the constant growth of the LED industry. With such an extensive range and volume of stock, we can offer our customers next-day delivery in the UK, and we use reliable courier services to secure the fastest deliveries wherever our customers are in the world. Into 2019 and onwards, we are excited to be able to expand and erect new premises in Coventry, UK. By the end of 2019, we plan to expand our lighting business further with a strategic office and distribution warehouse in Europe.

5: Return Conditions.
If you change your mind
If you have simply changed your mind about any item ordered and you wish to return it, then in line with the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) you can do so provided you inform us of your decision within 7 working days of receipt. The item must not be used and must be 'as new' when returned to us. Once you've informed us that you wish to return goods under the DSR, you have 28 calendar days to do so, at your own expense. Once the item is received at Ledison-led-lights.co.uk, we'll issue a full refund for the product to your original payment method. Please note this policy has some limitations and does not apply to business customers.(The Distance Selling Regulations do not apply to @work customers or our Business customers)
Due to the nature of bespoke production, some goods are made specifically to customer orders and therefore can not be returned. However in the event that any item found to be faulty, these will be replaced without question subject to a 5-year warranty on each LED tube light.
6: Proprietary Rights and Licences. All text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, video, page layouts, design and other material that is contained on our website or is part of our services, is protected by our and their copyrights, trademarks, service marks, patents or other proprietary rights and laws.
When you transmit or post any material to or on our website, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free licence under your copyright and other intellectual property rights to use display or distribute that material in any way without any duty at all to account to you.
7: Advertisements and Promotions. We may use our website or any of the services we provide or in any of the correspondence we send to you to run advertisements promoting products and services we offer or any of its subsidiaries, or any person or corporation duly authorised by us to advertise or promote their product or services through us.
