Description

A 90cm (3ft) dimmable T8 LED tube, 12W, supplied with an external dimmable LED driver. Dim it with a standard mains dimmer switch, a 1-10V control or DALI.

The driver is small and compact, only 85 x 54 x 32.5mm. It has active power factor correction and reversible protection against short circuit, over temperature and over voltage.

Key facts

  • 12 watts, 1150 lumens
  • Length (pin to pin): 909mm
  • Colour rendering index >80
  • Beam angle: 120 degrees
  • Dims smoothly with no flicker, buzzing or RF interference
  • Up to 50,000 hours
  • 5-year warranty

Dimming options

  • AC Triac: mains dimming with trailing edge dimmer switches, no extra wiring. Works with Varilight V-Pro, Lutron and Osram dimmers
  • 1-10V: needs 1 pair of control cables, positive (blue) and negative (white). Works with 1-10V dimmer switches or resistive potentiometers
  • DALI: digital control with high-precision dimming and lamp status

Installation

  • The tube runs on 36-42V DC from the supplied driver and must never be connected directly to 230/240V mains. Connect the driver to the 240V mains; the driver output (36-42V DC) connects to the tube
  • The tube is polarity sensitive. If it does not light, take it out, turn it 90 degrees and put it back in
  • 1-10V: one dimmer switch can control up to 15 drivers; the dimming wire must not be longer than 20 metres

Good to know

  • CE certificates: Low Voltage Directive (EN 62776:2015) and EMC Directive 2014/30/EU
