Hyperion LED Street Lighting Range: Built for Every Project

by Michal Racki 29 May 2026

Hyperion LED Street Lighting Range: Reliable, Scalable & Built for Every Project

Modern street lighting has moved well beyond traditional sodium lamps, with LED technology now setting the standard for efficiency, reliability and long-term performance. The Hyperion LED street light range from Ledison Lighting has been developed to meet the needs of a wide variety of projects, from small residential roads to large-scale commercial and industrial installations. Designed as a complete and scalable solution, this range allows installers and project planners to select the right output for each application without compromise.

A Complete Range for Every Application

One of the key advantages of this range is its flexibility. Rather than relying on a single product to cover all scenarios, it is available in multiple wattages, each tailored to a specific use. The 60W model is ideal for pathways, smaller roads and residential areas where lower mounting heights and reduced light levels are required.

Moving up, the 100W option is perfectly suited to car parks, estates and medium-traffic roads, offering an excellent balance between performance and energy efficiency. Meanwhile, the 150W version is commonly used for main roads and larger commercial spaces where stronger illumination is essential.

For more demanding environments such as industrial sites, logistics hubs, large open areas and highways, the higher-output 200W and 300W versions provide exceptional coverage and light output.

Hyperion LED Street Light Applications

Why LED Street Lights Are the Smart Choice

Hyperion LED street lights are not simply about brightness. They represent a significant improvement in energy efficiency, operational costs and long-term reliability. These luminaires deliver a high lumen output per watt, meaning more usable light is produced while consuming less energy.

As a result, businesses, local authorities and facility managers can reduce electricity consumption while maintaining excellent visibility and safety. Furthermore, with typical lifespans exceeding 50,000 hours, maintenance requirements are dramatically reduced compared to traditional discharge lighting technologies.

This combination of lower energy costs and reduced maintenance makes LED street lighting a practical long-term investment.

Built to Withstand Harsh Outdoor Conditions

Durability is critical for outdoor lighting installations. Hyperion LED street lights are manufactured with robust aluminium housings designed for efficient heat dissipation and long-term reliability.

Their weather-resistant construction protects against rain, dust and temperature fluctuations, making them suitable for year-round operation in demanding environments. In addition, instant start-up and consistent light output help improve safety for both pedestrians and vehicles.

Designed for Real-World Projects

The Hyperion range has been developed with practical installations in mind. Whether lighting a private road, commercial yard, logistics centre, industrial facility or public car park, the availability of multiple wattages allows designers and installers to create a consistent lighting scheme throughout the project.

Consequently, each area receives the appropriate level of illumination while energy consumption remains optimised.

Most Popular Models Available from Stock

For projects requiring a fast turnaround, product availability is often a deciding factor. The most popular and regularly stocked Hyperion models are the 60W, 100W and 150W versions.

These power ratings cover the majority of standard outdoor lighting applications and are ideal for contractors seeking reliable products ready for immediate deployment.

Need Higher Power? We've Got You Covered

For larger projects requiring higher-output luminaires such as 200W or 300W models, the Hyperion range continues to offer a suitable solution.

These powerful fittings are commonly specified for industrial facilities, major commercial developments, transport infrastructure and highway applications. As these models are more specialised, we recommend contacting our team to discuss project requirements and current lead times.

Choosing the Right Wattage

Selecting the correct LED street light is essential for achieving the best performance and efficiency. Lower wattages are generally suited to shorter pole heights and smaller areas, while higher wattages are intended for taller installations and wider coverage.

Matching the luminaire to the application ensures balanced light distribution, improved visibility and long-term cost savings.

Typical Applications

  • Residential streets and access roads
  • Car parks and retail parks
  • Industrial estates and warehouses
  • Logistics hubs and loading areas
  • Public pathways and pedestrian routes
  • Commercial developments
  • Sports and recreational facilities
  • Highways and major road networks

Final Thoughts

The Hyperion LED street light range offers a dependable and future-proof solution for modern outdoor lighting. Combining scalability, efficiency, durability and strong product availability, it is equally suited to small private developments and large infrastructure projects.

For most applications, the 60W, 100W and 150W models provide the ideal balance of performance, efficiency and convenience. Meanwhile, the higher-output 200W and 300W versions remain available for projects requiring maximum coverage and illumination.

If you are planning a street lighting, car park lighting or industrial lighting project, the Hyperion LED street light range provides a professional solution designed to deliver reliable performance for many years to come.
